The work
  • Work from an office in Toledo partnering with customer service, logistics and management to grow sales with established customers while identifying/developing prospective customers.
  • Help develop growing e-commerce program
  • Promote traditional, organic and non-GMO products
  • Sell to feed companies, stables, pet food manufacturers and niche livestock producers
  • Travel to trade shows to meet with customers and prospects
  • Help with logistics and customer service problems
  • Grow market share from 15% to 25% in the coming years
Year One
  • Learn the product line and customer base
  • Meet with top customers and attend trade shows
  • Identify prospective customers, develop the pipeline, execute the sales plan

  • Help management team implement the growth plan

To be considered for this role you must
  • Have experience selling agricultural products
  • Be proactive and highly organized
  • Have exposure to scheduling
  • Be able to overnight travel 60 nights per year
  • Be experienced and proficient working with little supervision
  • Have success building and managing a sales pipeline
  • Be a detail-oriented, customer-driven, entrepreneurial problem-solver
  • Be a team player
  • Have a strong attention to detail and follow up
  • BS degree in agribusiness, business management or related field desired
Candidates with experience working on crop or animal farm will rise to the top of the list.
