My client is a leading manufacturer of high quality plastic packaging machinery. They have been in business for over 50 years and specialize in food packaging and healthcare machinery, form-fill-seal, traysealers, chamber machines, and turnkey production lines. This is an international organization, continuing to grow and be a leading supplier here to the United States. They have over 300 employees and are doing around $200 million in revenue annually. The sales of packaging equipment has been successful and they are currently in a huge growth curve, over 50% in employment and expanding their manufacturing, and are in need of an experienced, technically minded, Sales Manager.

Your unique role with the company
will be to expand the company’s presence in the market with new and existing customers.
You will prospect for new clients and generate new business based on sales forecasts, grow existing accounts through excellent client-customer relationships and support
. This role will mostly sell to the food industry. This is critical role, highly visible, and we need someone who is responsive to customer needs to help continue to build reputable relationships in the industry.
To be successful in this role:
Bachelors Degree – Technical, Business, Marketing, etc.
Demonstrated experience in building customer relationships with machinery sales
2-10 years in selling materials for processing– preferably for food packaging (Film, Sheet, Thermoplastics, etc).
Strong communication and customer service orientated
Hunter mentality and desire to develop new business and leads
This position needs to have someone based in the territory, preferably in the Dallas, TX area. You will travel about 70% of the time, and work from a home office.
