Join the engineering team, a leader in the fluid power industry! We are currently seeking a hydraulic manifold and valve Product Specialist for our MEC (Mobile Engineering Center) group to help identify and grow new customers in the southern United States. In this position, the qualified candidate will work with an Account Manager in making sales calls to potential and current manifold customers. The candidate will be the subject matter expert in cartridge valves and manifolds, and help in identifying quoting opportunities while with a customer. This person will ultimately deliver a completed hydraulic schematic, bill of materials, and quotation.

This individual will be responsible for circuit engineering, product selection, quotation, and overall support of cartridge valve manifolds and sectional valves and will assist our Account Managers in growing our business by participating in joint visits to customers to help communicate our technical solutions. 

Required Qualifications:   

A Solid understanding of  fluid power concepts. 
Able to create new hydraulic schematics based on verbal input and written concepts. 
Comfortable with the use of AutoCAD or similar software tools to create schematics.   
Willing to travel approximately 30-40% of the time  in the territory
Strong mechanical aptitude. 

Desirable Qualifications: 
Two-year fluid power associates degree. 
Fluid Power Certification (Certified Fluid Power Specialist or similar.)
