Our client is a global technology services and solutions firm serving clients in the US, UK, Europe, Middle and Asia. They provide turnkey systems integration solutions involving custom software implementation, hardware optimization and data center maintenance to address the needs and concerns of clients across industries. Service offerings include Application Development & Maintenance, Remote Infrastructure Management Services, Quality Assurance Services & Big Data Analytics. This is a 100% hunter sales role prospecting named account and territory lists to bring in new business revenues. Salary of $40-55K depending on experience plus an uncapped commission plan and benefits. Will need to work from the office in Pleasanton when not making calls to clients.
1-2 years of cold calling business to business sales experience strongly preferred
or 1 - 4 years of relevant inside sales experience
or tech experience plus willingness to learn sales
Fortitude to make cold calls
Transitioning military with no sales experience will be considered
Ability to open and close business through cold calling, emailing, and web based demos
Excellent relationship building skills
Excellent networking, selling, communication and presentation skills
Must possess a high level of integrity, self-discipline, and positive attitude
Must be permanently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
The Sales professional will identify targets, appropriate contact(s), and their respective needs for products and services within all industry verticals.
Work from the office when not visiting clients - no remote office option
Initiate, establish, develop, maintain and grow relationships with targeted companies/contacts.
Sales professional will present, promote and sell a defined set of services and assessments to potential clients in a defined territory
Keep activity levels high (cold calling, follow ups) to ensure a robust pipeline
Track and report weekly pre-sale activities, touches, webinars, pipeline, and results in appropriate systems (Salesforce) and to sales manager
Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
Participate in weekly sales team calls
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through activity to team and sales manager
