Nationwide temporary staffing company which specializes in the construction industry is looking for an In-House recruiter. The recruiter will be responsible for conducting full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening interviewing, selection and conducting reference checks. The position will be working in the Ft. Lauderdale office and they prefer someone that lives close to work.
Conducts all recruiting for skilled construction workers.
Ensures candidate experience consistent with client requirements.
Experience with behavioral interviewing techniques.
Assist in forecasting temporary workforce needs to ensure sufficient candidates.
Utilize labor market and industry trends in developing recruiting strategies.
Include sourcing strategies (advertising, career fairs, networking etc.) to ensure sufficient candidates.
Develop a robust candidate pipeline while building and maintaining a strong referral network.
Develop candidate assessment tools based on company protocols.
Work closely with the sales team to understand worker needs.
Coordinate placement of job advertising and utilizes online recruiting sources to recruit candidates.
Conduct regular worker job satisfaction calls.
Perform on-site visits to ensure worker safety guidelines are followed.
Other duties and projects may be assigned.
Four-year Degree in Human Resources or Business related field.
Four or more years of Human Resources with a focus on Recruitment
Recruitment experience in the staffing industry preferred.
Experience working with skilled trades industry required for this role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook; Advanced skills in Excel.
Intermediate experience working with ATS software
Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining professional contacts.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to all levels of management/employees.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
Experience developing and utilizing behavioral based interviewing techniques.
Functional knowledge of Federal and State Human Resources/Recruiting regulations.
Customer Service attitude with the ability to work unsupervised.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Valid driver’s license.
Base salary of $43,500 - $52,000
(depending on experience)
Potential annual commission of $5k - $12k.
