POSITION:    Fashion Technology – Business Development
LOCATIN:     New York City – Other areas will be considered
Sr. Retail Client Sales / Acquisition Rep will work for a publicly traded New Age Technical Retail Solution provider. 
Individual will prospect, attract and secure new Retail clients, to use the company’s unique measurement device / software.
Primary responsibility is to qualified prospects and sign up new customer.  They will work with these customers to increase penetration / usage of the solution.
The person the company is looking to hire will have a background in selling to the retail industry and be able to work with both Executives and Technical groups in the retail industry.
They must understand how new technology is accepted and implemented.
  • Sign up new Retail Clients
  • Understand the retail business and how new age technology is implemented.
  • Build a tactical / strategic plan to get company’s solutions into retail accounts
  • Oversee company pilots and secure ongoing business with customers.
  • Increase penetration / usage of company’s solution.
  • Enlists the support of sales specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Support timely client reviews, escalations, and drive retention and growth of the business
  • Build and Maintain a CRM system to address Opportunities and Projects
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 + years of experience penetrating new Retail accounts and sales experience.
  • Sales of both technical hardware and software products preferred.
  • Trained or demonstrate strategic thinking / planning skills around the sales / buying process
  • Clothing retail experience/knowledge highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Market savvy with well-developed negotiating and closing skills.
  • Demonstrated outstanding problem solving abilities
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Some international travel might be required.
