My client in Houston is a leader in the IT Staffing and Consulting Services industry. They are also a developer of work flow management software. They have 9 Global locations and sales executives enjoy aggressive commission plans.
We have an immediate opportunity for a branch manager type to oversee 8-10 recruiters and 6 business development people. They will run a line of business, impact the bottom line and supervise a team of Recruiters and Sales professionals. You will be responsible for outside sales and maintaining a successful office operation. You will be tasked with the branch’s financial/operational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
Sales: Prospect for new customers; make sales presentations, close business deals. Build and maintain successful relationships with customers and prospects in your market.Support all sales functions including managed services, IT Consulting, Offshore recruiting, Staff Augmentation.
Fiscal: Meet branch’s sales goals. P&L responsibility. Make realistic budget projections. Stay within budget and contain costs proactively. Deal promptly with budget variances.
Hiring/Developing/Retaining Talent: Build and manage a successful recruiting and sales team. Provide meaningful development plans. Reward staff for developmental success as well as for job performance. Actively work to identify and retain top talent. Conduct regular performance reviews and staff meetings.
Team Leadership: Define team roles and responsibilities. Review team successes and failures. Lead by example. Incorporate the motivational drivers of the individuals on the team to provide an environment that maximizes team performance.
5-7 years of sales management in the IT staffing and consulting industry.
Substantial track record of successful operations management.
Earnings history typical of a successful performer.
OTE is $250,000 with no cap and base salary in the $150000 range.
