Will work for a U.S. based manufacturer of industrial machinery and robotic systems at their Statesville, North Carolina Division Headquarters with responsibility for maximizing spare parts sales and increase customer satisfaction. Will build customer relationships by travelling to customer locations to perform follow-up activities on system, parts and service sales, address customer concerns, promote aftermarket sales, furnish technical support where applicable and collect profiling information to enhance the customer experience. Will provide value to our customers by trouble-shooting processing and/or equipment issues, whereby accurately identifying parts and service solutions that meet their specific needs.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Looks for opportunities to grow components sales through increased business with existing customers, new customers and owners of competitive brands.
Supports products for after-market parts and service sales.
Creates quotes and processes orders for customers.
Document review management: Ensure all orders, T&C's, payment terms are within company guidelines.
Promptly follow-up with customers and deliver support.
Completes call reports for each customer visit and monthly review of sales, gross profit and project list.
Profiles customers' equipment and provides technical support where applicable.
Support and develop right parts pricing and inventory levels.
Education and Experience Requirements
5+ years in a technical sales and/or customer service role with direct customer interface.
Technical Associate's Degree preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, as this role serves North, South and Central American regions.
