Our client is seeking an experienced Account Executive to contribute to the growth of their organization. The ideal background is from the VAR space selling storage, internet and software network security.
The Account Executive will function as an integral part of the company by attending sales calls with team members, identifying new customers & opportunities for the company, and working closely with client partners to deliver quality implementations and deployments. This position includes a competitive base salary, commission, and benefits package.
Identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities for client Products & Services.
Conducting Sales calls with customers and prospects.
Articulating value proposition and solutions to multiple levels within the customer organizations, including executive level.
Maintaining close contact with vendor partners, remaining cognizant of product updates.
Participating in Industry specific organizations / associations.
Generating proposals as needed.
Maintaining activity reporting and customer information in CRM database.
Proven track record of opening new accounts in IT sales
Strong competitive drive and tenacity.
Strong customer presence; ability to communicate technology concepts across all levels of an organization.
General understanding of IT Infrastructure and/or Hardware.
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of experience in technology pre-sales.
Demonstrated ability to establish lasting relationships with customers.
Current rolodex of past clients preferred.
