A major moving and storage company which operates in the NY, NJ, CT area is seeking experienced full time salespeople. The base salary is $20,000 to $30,000 and a significant commission and bonus opportunity. ·     I.  Basic Work Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.  You may be called upon to work longer hours or on Saturday (or even Sunday) in certain circumstances.  Our responsibility is to service the customer first, and as a salesperson this may require some personal sacrifice in the form of time.
 
·     II.  A sales person is totally prepared to help customers make good decisions regarding the products and services of the company you sell.  This includes Local moving services, Interstate moving services, International moving services, Storage in Transit, Permanent Storage, Special Services, Valuation/Insurance and Packing and Crating services.
 
·     III.  A sales person knows and executes (on a timely basis) all proper procedures and forms associated with the processing of jobs booked, on behalf of their customers.
 
·     IV.  When not physically doing estimates or the appropriate follow up work, a salesperson develops leads from many places including Realtors, contractors/builders, lawyers, mortgage companies, newspapers, touring neighborhoods in their territory, and any other source they can create.  A sales person does not spend time in the office (or out of the office) with nothing productive to do.  He/she creates opportunity through hard work. 
 
·     V.  A sales person helps to make sure that all jobs booked by them are seen through to completion, with customer satisfaction as the goal.  This includes assistance in the area of billing and collection, claims and other problems if necessary and appropriate.
 
·     VI.  A sales person is a leader within the organization.  We need them to help establish and maintain positive morale within the company.  We need them to help solve morale problems as they arise -- leading through their own actions and attitude.
 
·     VII.  A sales person is aware of and follows all company policies and sets an example for others at the company in the respect they show their fellow employees and their customers, and their willingness to participate as a team player.
