Sales / Applications Engineer - IN, WI, MN, IL, IA, ND, and SD
Compensation: $70-110K (total comp)
TouchPoint Recruiting Group has been retained by one of our clients (a leading company in the precision test and measurement market based in Indianapolis, IN), to assist in the hiring of a sales engineer with extensive technical education and analytical skills.
This position offers a creative and dynamic working environment. Products are on the leading edge of microflow and leak testing, flow measurement and calibration solutions.
Requirements:Sales of flow instrumentation or other test equipment.
Plan and execute new sales and marketing strategy with focus on Key Accounts for retention and growth.
Provide technical assistance to customers.
Responsibilities:* Identify opportunities and applications.
* Develop new applications, as necessary.
* Make initial contact and identify leads.
* Customer visits and presentations as required.
* Quote preparation.
* Follow up and closing on the order.
* Customer interface during the sale and installation process to cover all sales/contract issues.
* Customer trainings for related industries or applications.
* Marketing projects and assignments (trade shows, catalogs).
* Technical assignments such as start up warranty support at customer site, installation.
